Palgongsan

Palgongsan Natural Park

Palgongsan Natural Park is located close to Palgongsan Mountain, one of the larger mountains in the Taebaek mountain range. Palgongsan Mountain is located 20km northeast from downtown Daegu, where Nakdonggang River and Geumhogang River meet. The mountain has three peaks in a row: Birobong Peak in the center and Dongbong (aka ‘Mitabong,’ 1,155m) and Seobong (aka ‘Samseongbong,’ 1,150m) on each side.

Garosu Gil Road

Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil Road

The ginkgo tree-lined street (Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil) that runs from Sinsa Station (Subway Line 3) to Hyeondae High School is a popular, upscale street in Seoul. The street (also known as ‘artists’ street’) has an eccentric flair thanks to its variety of charmingly decorated coffee shops, and designer stores. Garosu-gil is particularly popular in autumn when the golden ginkgo leaves begin to fall.

Daedun Viaduct

Daedunsan Mountain (878 meters), located between the cities of Daejeon and Jeonju, is one of the most spectacular and trekkable mountains in Korea. It is without a doubt one of Korea’s most dramatic and memorable mountains to climb. The scenery here is breathtaking, which makes it a superb place to observe both autumn colors and winter snow. Walking on the bridge is a wonderful experience since you can see the breathtaking view of the mountains and, secondly, the bridge sways as you walk on it, making it an adventure to cross. If the wind is strong, the bridge sways appreciably, making your experience all the more memorable
