Sanchon restaurant ( Vegan-friendly )

Founded and opened by Monk Jeongsan, Sanchon is a vegan-friendly restaurant that mainly serves temple foods.
The dishes are made with all natural ingredients such as vegetables and mountain herbs, and are cooked without chemical additives. The actual dishes served vary by season, and in order to meet the tastes of the general public, the restaurant includes “five spices” (garlic, shallots, mountain leeks, etc.), which monks are typically not allowed to eat. Those who would like their food without these ingredients are asked to make their request at least one day prior to visiting.

Namhansanseong Fortress | Gwangju

Located on Namhansan Mountain, the Namhansanseong Fortress was originally built during the Goguryeo period about 2,000 years ago and after many renovations, it became a designated UNESCO World Heritage site in 2014. There are five courses to walk along the fortress with varying levels of difficulty. The fortress is great for all seasons and you can enjoy the different colours of the mountain at different times of the year.

Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch

Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch is a huge ranch of 10 million sqm (2,471 acres). Over 400 cows, 100 sheep, 40 horses and goats graze in this vast natural grassland. The ranch was established in 1974 and is only opened to the public in 2014. Daegwallyeong Sky Ranch is also one of the largest dairy farms in Korea.
You can experience horseback riding and horseback trekking in the spacious scenery with refreshing winds. There is also Tractor carriages that bring visitors on a 5km course around the ranch and to the observation deck

This festival is one of the biggest flower festivals in Korea and takes place in Goyang, a city in Gyeonggi province. Goyang International Flower Festival takes place from April to May. The festival is held in a metropolitan area in which some foreign flower farmers participate.
