Color of Yoo Youngkuk

    Kukje Gallery present Colors of Yoo Youngkuk, from 9 June to 21 August. Commemorating the 20th anniversary of Yoo Youngkuk’s death, this is the artist’s second exhibition. Highlighting multiple stages of the artist’s career, the exhibition is comprised of 68 paintings that present iconic examples from each period of his life

Park Seo-Bo & Kil Sung

    At the new Hanok space of Kukje Gallery Seoul branch, Park Seo-Bo and Kil Sung, a duo exhibition by painter Park Seo-Bo and ceramic artist Gil-Sung, will be on display from July 14 to August 10. In fact, the two artists share their masterpieces in same place, giving a contemporary and traditional feel. Moreover, to participate in the exhibition, visit naver’s website to reserve your place.

Hunminjeongeum, The Design of a Writing System Beyond Millennia

    It’s permanent exhibition. If you want to know more about the origin of the creation of future Korean characters this exhibition is perfect. Actually, in 1446, King Sejong created Hunminjeongeum, a book that revealed the purpose and principle of creating new characters. Follow the Hunminjeongeum designed by King Sejong, which contains a writing system, and feel the brilliant history and the culture timelessness achieved by Hangeul.
