Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm
Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm is a privately owned ranch on an area of 195 k㎡. There are many ranches in Pyeongchang, but Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm is the only ranch that raises sheep.
Mungyeong Saejae Provincial Park
There are 3 legendary boundary gates at Mungyeong Saejae Provincial Park, on rough mountaintops, which are reputed to be too tall for even birds to fly over.
Gungnamji & Seodong Park
Seodong Park is a sculpture park displaying 68 sculptures created by famous Korean sculptors. Mahan Hall showcases the lifestyle and culture of Mahan, a tribal confederation during the Samhan period. The park also features various facilities such as an observatory, fishing spot and a promenade.
Cheonjiyeon Falls
The water at Cheonjiyeon Falls, meaning “sky connected with land,” appears to fall from the heavens, giving the falls its name.
Gongju National Museum
Gongju National Museum manages and preserves the cultural treasures excavated from northern Chungcheongnam-do. It takes special care of cultural treasures discovered at the Muryeong Royal Tomb in 1971. The Muryeong Royal Tomb is the tomb of King Muryeong (501-523) from the Baekje Period, and his queen consort.
Mukyewon
It is a traditional cultural space that opened in Buam-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff
If you follow the farm road about 600m to the southwest from Daepo-dong, at the end of the pine tree forest is a cliff. At the base of this cliff is the Jisatgae Coast along with the imposing stone pillars.
Namiseom Island
Namiseom Island was formed as a result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam. It is a half moon-shaped isle, and on it is the grave of General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels in the 13th year of the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Sejo (reign 1455-1468).
Haeundae Dongbaekseom Island
Dongbaekseom Island (Island of Camellias) is an island located off one end of Busan’s famous Haeundae Beach. Although the years of sedimentation have connected the island to the mainland, Dongbaekseom was originally an island and is still referred to as one.
Gongju Hanok Village
Gongju Traditional Korean Village was built at 12 Tourist Complext Street (Woongjindong), Gongju City, Chungcheongnamdo. It was opened to catch the World Baekjae Exibition in September, 2010.
