Gwangjang market
The one most popular area in the market is the food section. It is located in East Gate, North Gate 2, and South Gate 1. It is full of delicious and unexpected food that makes people curious. Most travellers don’t know half of the dishes they see on the market, which is why they go to the market to try the delicacies that market has to offer.
Which typical food to try on the market:
Bindaetteok (Mung Bean Pancakes), Boribap (Rice and Barley with Vegetables), Eomukguk (Fish Cake Soup), Mayak (means drug, addictive like drug because its so good) Kimbap (bite-size dried seaweed rolls), Kalguksu (Korean knife-cut noodle soup).
In addition, if you are feeling a little adventurous, here a few things to try:
takpal (chicken feet), live octopus, Soondae (pork intestines filled with cellophane noodles, barley and pork blood), pig head.
Karaoke
Also known as Noraebang in korean, is as most people know a way to have fun by covering songs with a microphone and lyrics in front of an audience.
Although in Korea it is a little different.
To have a better image of what it is, if you are too shy to to sing in front of strangers or people you are not comfortable with, you can just go to a private room. You will be able to enjoy yourself. Either with friends,family, colleagues or even alone.
As South Korean culture is getting more and more popular worldwide, you see more foreigners coming to visit and try Korea’s most popular activities which includes Noraebang.
How to go to a Karaoke?
Once you have found a karaoke, you have to do rent a private room. The price depends on how many people are present, how long you are renting the room, the services (food, drinks, etc.), or the type of establishment.
Then you just have to go to your designated room and find microphones, screens, costumes, disco balls and so on.
After doing that all you have to do is enjoy your time!

What a beautiful way to capture a moment with your friends, family, or lover. You had a great day with your friends? Then why not go to a photo booth to capture the moment, that you will remember through the picture.
There are many photo booths in the streets of Seoul, so if you are trying to find one while visiting the city you might not struggle a lot.
Nowadays you even have studios where you can to choose themes (retro, disco, school uniform, hanbok costumes etc.), get dressed and take pictures.
The famous kimchi, kimbap, tteokbokki, nokdujeon
Although kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish of salted, fermented vegetables mainly made with cabbage. It can be made with all kinds of vegetables cucumbers, radish etc. The main ingredients used are scallions, carrots, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, shrimp paste, and some other ingredients.
Kimbap is a Korean rice roll that looks a lot like sushi. However the main difference is, sushi is made out of rice seasoned with vinegar usually eaten with raw fish. Whereas kimbap is made with rice mixed with sesame oil and several fillings that include meats, imitation crab, ham, eggs, and cheese.
Tteokbokki is a stir-fried rice cake. It is made with a type of rice cake called garaetteok, a cylinder-shaped white rice cake. It is mixed with ingredients like garlic, scallion, fish cake, cabbage etc.
