Information

Heolleung is the tomb of King Taejong, the 3rd king of the Joseon Dynasty, and Queen Wongyeong of the Min family. Heolleung is a twin tomb in which the king and queen’s burial mounds are built side by side on the same hill.

Heonilleung is unique in that it houses two kings born 400 years apart. Visitors to the royal tombs can see examples of early and late Joseon Dynasty royal tombs and there is a weekly talk about the tombs every Saturday. On Lunar New Year’s Day, traditional performances are held at Heonilleung for the public to enjoy.

Admission Fee:

19 – 64 years old: 1000 won

Group ( more than 10 people ): 800won
