    Seodaemun Prison History Hall

    Seodaemun History Museum

    Seodaemun Prison History Hall: A special museum located in Seodaemun Independence Park which was former prison opened in 1908. It was used to imprison Korean liberation activists. Many were tortured and executed by Japanese soldiers. After the March 1st movement, the number of imprisoned increased to about 3000. Seodaemun Prison History Hall was built in remembrance of Seodaemun Prison, and to salute Korean patriots. You’ll find seven jail cells, a historical exhibition hall, an execution room, watchtowers and a basement jail cell.

    The Statue of Peace

    The Statue of Peace: Also called as “Sonyeosang” (Statue of Girl) in Korean, it is a symbol of victims of sexual slavery, known as comfort women, by the Japanese imperial military during World War II. The Statue of Peace was erected for calling apologies and remembrance.

    Gwanghwamun Square: The redesigned Gwanghwamun Square has just opened to the public on Aug 1st, 2009. Located at the center of the 600-Year old historic city of Seoul, you can see the statue of King sejong the Great who invented Korean Alphabet ‘Hangul’ and the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Shin.

    Deoksugung Palace

    Deoksugung Palace

    Deoksugung Palace: Famous for its elegant stone-wall road, Deoksugung palace is one of Five Grand Palaces built during Joseon Dynasty. Like other palaces, it was heavily destroyed during the Japanese colonial period and only one third of its remains are left. You can enjoy the magnificent view of Deoksugung Palace at the top of the Jeongdong Observatory.

    War Memorial

    War Memorial

    War Memorial: It opened in 1994 on the army headquarters to commemorate actors and victims of the war which led to a modern nation state. The museum also has the purpose of educating future generations by collecting, preserving, and exhibiting various historical relics and records related to wars fought in the country, from a South Korean viewpoint.

  1. Seodaemum Prison History Hall closes on Tuesday if Monday is holiday.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. Cancellation policy for one day tour will be automatically applied as below:
    • 100% Refund 7 days before the departure (KST 16:00PM)
    • 50% Refund 5 days before the departure (KST 16:00PM)
    • 0% Refund 2 days before the departure (KST 16:00PM)
  2. If you need to change the date, please cancel and make a new booking. Regular cancellation policy will be applied.
  3. Personal/ Medical/ Bad weather/ Flight cancellation/ Natural disaster/ or any other reasons that we cannot control are NO EXCEPTIONS to the cancellation policy and NO REFUND will be done by the company according to our Cancellation policy.
  4. Written notice of cancellation must be received by Etourism Co. Ltd. either by email or via our website. Oral cancellation will not be accepted.
  5. If for some personal reasons the client wants to cancel the tour once it already started, NO REFUND will be done by the company.

Adjustment Policy

  1. We reserve the right to change the tour prices with or without notice due to exchange rate fluctuation.
  2. As a result of various operational factors, usually flight delays and schedule changes, there may be a slight change to the arrangements.
  3. All museums are not offered on Mondays. Another attraction will be a substitute.
  4. We reserve the right to adjust/change our Terms & Conditions without prior notice

Responsibility Policy

  1. We have NO RESPONSIBILITY for any Damage/Accident/Death/Loss/Sickness/Injury/Natural disaster/Political or Personal reasons arising from activities during the trip.
  2. You are responsible for respecting the authority and following the directions of the tour guide and Korean laws during a tour.

  2. It is your responsibility to consult with your physician regarding your health condition and ability to travel long distances. Please let us know your needs when booking.
