Korea Dark Tour Seodaemun Prison History Hall


 Seodaemun Prison History Hall is a special museum located

 in Seodaemun Independence Park.

 It was built near of the end of the Joseon Dynasty (~1910).

 This place has imprisoned Korean Independence movement followers,

 which has been tortured and executed by Japanese soldiers.

 Seodaemun Prison History Hall was built in remembrance of Seodaemun Prison,

 and to salute Korean patriots. There you'll find seven jail cells, a historical exhibition hall,

 an execution room, watchtowers and a basement jail cell,

 where the historical figure during the independence, Yu Gwan-sun died.


Korea Dark Tour The Statue of Peace

 The Statue of Peace (Pyeonghwaui sonyeosang), also often called "Sonyeosang" 

 in Korean pronunciation is a symbol of victims of sexual slavery,

 known as comfort women, by the Japanese imperial military during World War II.

 The Statue of Peace was erected for calling apologies and remembrance.

Korea Dark Tour Gwanghwamun Square

 The redesigned Gwanghwamun Square has just opened

 to the public on Aug 1st, 2009. Located at the center of the 600-Year old historic city

 of Seoul. There are the statue of King sejong the Great

 who invented Korean Alphabet 'Hangul' and the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Shin.

Korea Dark Tour Deoksugung Palace

 Deoksugung Palace where famous for its elegant stone-wall road.

 It is also the only palace that sits alongside a series of western style buildings

 that add to the uniqueness of the surrounding scenery.

 You will go up to the top of Jeongdong Observatory.

 At this place you will enjoy drink coffee with the magnificent view of Deoksugung Palace.

  The War Memorial Museum was built to commemorate actors and victims

 of the war which led to a modern nation state. 

 The museum also has the purpose of educating future generations by collecting,

 preserving, and exhibiting various historical relics and records related to wars

* Itinerary *

Korea DMZ Tour Imjingak


 Imjingak Resort, located at 7 km from the military Demarcation Line,

 is now at the forefront of tourism related to the Korean War.

 Imjingak was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification will be possible.

 The three-storied Imjingak is surrounded by several monuments like Unification Park

 and North Korea Center.


Korea DMZ Tour The 3rd Tunnel


 The 3rd Tunnel was discovered in 1978 by South Korean forces.

 It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km 

 from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through 

 the tunnel per hour. The scale is similar to the 2nd Tunnel,

 but it was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd tunnels.

 Located only 4km away from Injingak toward the southwest and 3.5km 

 from Tongilchon area, it is accessible by car for about 45 minutes only.


Korea DMZ Tour Dora observatory

 

 From the Dora observatory, visitors can overlook North Korea and various locations

 including Gaeseong, Songaksan, Kim Il-Sung Statue,

 and Cooperation Farm (Geumamgol). The observatory offers 500 seats

 and abundant parking space. It was first opened to the public in January 1987.
